Makena Traffic Accident Cleared – Details Pending Release

*** An UPDATE is now posted at the following LINK with information on the circumstances of the early morning collision.

Maui police reopened Makena Alanui Drive following an early morning accident just south of the Makena Resort.

The road was closed from 4:52 a.m. to 8:42 a.m. while police conducted an investigation.

The accident was located along Makena Alanui Drive between Honoiki Street and Old Makena Road near the Makena Landing.

Details of the accident are pending release from the Maui Police Department.
