Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler Buys Home in Wailea

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Steven Tyler, leader singer for Aerosmith and an “American Idol” judge has purchased a home on Maui for $4.8 million.
The home had once been listed for $6.5 million and is located in a nature preserve area near Wailea, according to the newspaper.
The home is reportedly 3,000 square feet and has two bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and is pentagonal in shape with several outdoor decks. There is also a floor-to-ceiling aquarium and an infinity-edge saltwater pool overlooking the ocean.
Realtors Sean Crowley and Tom Muldoon of Coldwell Banker Island Properties listed the property for seller Fred Constant, the owner of Constant-Diamond Mountain Vineyard in California’s Napa Valley, who originally bought the property in 2002. Bob Hansen of Maui Estates International represented the buyer.
