UPDATE: Missing Puna Boy Found Unharmed in Hilo

Nine-year-old Disen Hue-Aragaki, who was missing, has been located. He was found unharmed in Hilo.

Hawaii Island Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing nine-year-old Puna boy.

Disen Hue-Aragaki was last seen leaving his home located just below the J. Hara Store at around 2:30 p.m. following an argument.

Police say Hue-Aragaki failed to return.

The boy was last seen wearing camouflage surf shorts and no shirt.

He is described as 4’6″ tall, 60 pounds, with a slim build, and short black hair.

Officers and detectives are scouring the area, along with the aid of a scent-discriminating dog and a helicopter.

Police ask that anyone who may have seen the child or who has any information about his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Detective Joel Field at 961-2381.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
