Paia ATM Photos Released in Credit Card Theft Investigation

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual wanted for questioning in a theft and fraudulent use of a credit card investigation.
Crime Stoppers alleges that the subject depicted in surveillance photos, withdrew cash from an ATM machine in Paia using a stolen bank card earlier this month.
According to surveillance documentation, at least three transactions of $200 each were withdrawn from an account containing more than $6,000.
Anyone with information concerning the identity of the person in the surveillance photos is asked to contact Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or toll free from the neighbor islands at (888) 242-6966.
Maui Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals in unsolved crimes.
The public should consider all wanted persons as dangerous and should not approach, follow or take other action that could put themselves in danger.
