On May 26, the Royal Lahaina Resort will open its new Jazz Club Maui with host band SLAM featuring David Choy and Kelly Covington.

Every Saturday night evening, guests can enoy talented musicians playing smooth jazz, rhythm and blues, and dance music.

“The Jazz Club Maui at the Royal Lahaina Resort will combine great food and drinks, top-shelf music, and a sophisticated, yet, inviting, lounge experience.  It will be great fun, as we jazz up Saturday nights on Maui, making them even more memorable for our guests,” said Elizabeth Bell, director of marketing and business development at Royal Lahaina Resort, in a written statement.

Recording artist David Choy is a premier saxophonist and Covington is a highly touted jazz and R&B vocalist. The band will play a mix of their original tunes and music from some of today’s hottest jazz and R&B artists.
