Repairs to water lines on Wili Pa Loop in Wailuku is affecting service for some customers in the Millyard area today, into tonight.

The Maui Department of Water Supply is working to repair two leaky service laterals on Wili Pa Loop.

Officials say the south intersection with Imi Kala, closest to Mill Street, will be closed from 4 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m. today, July 26, 2012.

The north intersection, closest to the post office, will remain open during repairs.

Water service should only be cut off for the leaking service laterals, said department officials.

Other customers should not notice a change in their water service, according to authorities.

Customers are asked to call the 24-hour service line (270-7633) only if a water problem occurs.
