Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in locating 67-year-old Ernest Orson Presas.
A warrant was issued for his arrest following a theft incident in South Maui last year.
Authorities say Presas is wanted by Maui Police Department for the theft of jewelry from Grand Jewels of Wailea at the Grand Wailea Resort in June 2011.
Ernest Presas is described as 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with grey hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with information concerning the identity of the person in the surveillance photo is asked to contact Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or toll free from the neighbor islands at (888) 242-6966.
Maui Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals in unsolved crimes.
The public should consider all wanted persons as dangerous and should not approach, follow or take other action that could put themselves in danger.
The public is reminded that the information provided by authorities is merely an accusation, and all parties are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
