MEO Graduates 26 Business Planning Students

The Maui Economic Opportunity Inc.’s Business Development Center (MEO BDC) graduated 26 students from its Core Four Business Planning course on August 21.
Over 80 students have graduated with business plans from the program so far this year and the next cohort is starting in early September.
At the graduation dinner on Wednesday night, the soon-to-be entrepreneurs were able to talk with Maui business bankers who had volunteered their time to review the students’ business plans and provide additional guidance in operating a successful business.
MEO BDC’s Core Four Business Planning is a 36-hour course on how to write a business plan while providing the information needed to know to start, operate and grow your business.
The next cohort of classes will begin September 11 and two introductory class will be held on September 4 and September 5 to acquaint interested students, business owners, and entrepreneurs.

Funding for the Core Four Business Planning program is provided by the County of Maui Mayor’s Office of Economic Development.
