Maui Preparatory Academy will implement several staffing additions and promotions with the start of the 2012 school year.
The school has announced the promotion of Ryan Kirkham to the position of Middle and Upper School Principal. Kirkham formerly served as the Director of Student Life and Athletics, and Upper School Science faculty member.
He is originally from British Columbia, studied at Trinity Western University and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Educational Leadership and Management program at Royal Roads University. Kirkham is also a founding faculty member of Maui Preparatory Academy.

Born and raised in Maui, Casco was a standout athlete at Lahainaluna High School, and went on to attend the University of Utah on a football scholarship.
Faculty additions for 2012 include: Angie Glass, Pre-school teacher; Dr. Kathleen Ireland, Upper School Science faculty (formerly a science teacher at Seabury Hall); Kay Milne, Art teacher; and Kristie Fetterly, Middle School English faculty.
