BRIEF: Kula Brush Fire Burns 1/4 Acre

A small brush fire in the Hawaiian Homestead area past Kula burned a 1/4 acre before being brought under control at 5:25 p.m.

The fire was first reported at 4:49 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the area makai of Keokea, just off of Olakino Place.

Crews responding to the scene included Engine-13, Engine-5, and Tanker-10.

Authorities did not say what caused the fire.
