BRIEF: Water shortage at Kapalaoa Cabin

The Kapalaoa Cabin in the Summit District of Haleakalā National Park on Maui is experiencing a water shortage due to lack of rain.

Park officials say cabin users should pack in all the water they will need if planning to camp in the area.

The wood-burning and propane stoves are still available, as are cooking supplies, eating utensils, and dishes.
