Senator Schatz is Building Office and Team

Newly appointed US Senator Brian Schatz will be staffing his office in the coming weeks.

Schatz is accepting applications for positions for his offices in both Hawai`i and Washington DC through January 4, 2013.

In a statement released over the weekend, Schatz said he’s looking for talented, energetic, and public-minded people who want to serve their state and their country.

“Getting my office operational and building our team is essential and we’ve made good progress in a very short period of time,” said Sen. Schatz.

Resumes should be sent to: [email protected].  Applicants should indicate whether they are applying for positions in Hawai`i, DC or both.

“These are difficult times and it is incredibly important that we unify around what is best for Hawai`i and every indication so far is that we are going to be able to do that,” said Sen. Schatz.
