Police Renew Request for Info on Missing Maui Woman

Hawaiʻi County police have renewed their request for information about a 19-year-old Maui woman who was reported missing from Lakewood, Washington, where she attends college.

Authorities say Nhi Nguyen Tuyet Pham may be on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, possibly in Puna.

Authorities did not explain the circumstances surrounding the woman’s disappearance.  An initial request for public assistance was made on December 12, 2012.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Detective Robert Almeida at 961-2386. Detective Almeida may also be reached by email at [email protected].

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
