There were a total of 13 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between March 31 and April 6, 2013.

The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in:  (3) Kahului, (5) Kīhei, (1) Maʻalaea, (1) Napili, (1) Pāʻia, and (2) Wailuku.

Kahului:

  • Sunday, March 31, 2013, 4:30 p.m.:  Kaulana Street. 2004 Silver Toyota Tacoma.
  • Sunday, March 31, 2013, 7:37 p.m.:  Amala Place at Hale Nanea.  2012 Silver Toyota 4Runner.
  • Wednesday, April 3, 2013, 3 a.m.:  Hāna Highway at 24 Hour Fitness.  2011 Gray Toyota Tacoma.

Kīhei:

  • Monday, April 1, 2013, 7:45 p.m.:  South Kīhei Road at Lulu’s Kīhei back parking lot.  2002 Silver Toyota Rav4.
  • Monday, April 1, 2013, 10 p.m.:  South Kīhei Road at the Kīhei Boat Ramp.  2000 Green Toyota Tacoma.
  • Saturday, April 6, 2013, 2:15 a.m.:  South Kīhei Road at Mai Poina ʻOe Iaʻu.  2002 White Ford Windstar.
  • Friday, April 5, 2013, 8:51 p.m.:  South Kīhei Road at the Azeka Mauka center.  2002 White Ford multi-purpose vehicle.
  • Saturday, April 6, 2013, 3:05 p.m.:  South Kīhei Road at the Azeka Mauka center near Stella Blues.  2008 Silver Jeep multi-purpose vehicle.
