91st Maui Fair Food Booth Concessions Meeting

A mandatory meeting for all invited food concessionaires for the upcoming 2013 Maui Fair will take place this Wednesday, June 12, in Central Maui.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Alexa Higashi Meeting room.

Officials from the state Department of Health, and county Department of Fire and Public Safety will discuss rules and regulations for food vendors.

Also on hand will be officials from Hawaiʻi Gas and Wasa Electric Co., who will discuss electric needs of food concessionaires.

Authorities also plan to distribute food concession contracts at the meeting.

The 91st Maui Fair is scheduled to open on Thursday, October 3, and run through Sunday, October 6, at the War Memorial Complex.

Fair officials say the four-day event serves as the primary source of funding for many of the county’s non-profit and community organizations.
