91st Maui Fair “A Timeless Tradition” Seeks Sponsors
By Maui Now Staff
The 91st Maui Fair, planned to run from October 3-6, 2013, is currently seeking sponsors for the event.
With an attendance approaching 100,000, administrators note that the Maui Fair is the primary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and community organizations.
“It relies entirely on corporate or local business sponsorships, local donations, and volunteers for support,” said Fair organizers in a press release.
New sponsorship packages have been developed to provide value-added benefits to fit companies with varying investment budgets.
“One of the most valuable benefits of sponsorship is the significant amount of publicity you receive, exposing you and your business as a true community supporter,” said fair officials in the announcement.
The four-day family event features food, education, and entertainment.
The Fair opens with the traditional parade, which is also Maui’s largest, on Thursday, October 3, and will continue with rides, food, entertainment and more through Sunday evening, October 6, 2013.
This year marks the return of the now 6th Annual Robo Tech Maui Expo & Competition. The event features the future of robotics and student success in STEM programming.
Also returning this year is the Commercial Exhibit and Hawaiʻi Products & Services Tents, as well as an Events Arena with “how-to” demonstrations, and the popular Chili Cook-Off.
