Maui Police Seek Help in Robbery Reports

Maui police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery reported last week in Wailuku.
According to police reports, two males, who were walking behind the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church parking lot on Main Street, were allegedly held up at gunpoint by an unknown suspect in dark clothing.
The incident was reported at 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, police said.
Police describe the suspect as 5’9” to 5’10” tall, and weighing between 150-170 pounds.

Maui police are also seeking the public’s help with an unrelated second degree robbery case reported between 9:30 and 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at the restroom area of Kalama Park in Kīhei.
According to police reports, a male visitor was allegedly attacked from behind by an unknown male, as he exited the restroom. Police reports indicate that the male visitor was allegedly knocked unconscious during the incident.
Police say two other males appeared and allegedly robbed the visitor of money and cell phone during the incident.
