Baby Critically Injured in Fall from 2-Story Window

A 16-month old boy is being treated on Oʻahu after falling from a second-story window in Makawao on Saturday, police said.

The incident was reported at 10:17 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013.

According to Maui Police Lieutenant William Juan, the baby was taken to the Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical condition, and then flown to Oʻahu for further treatment.

The case has been classified as a miscellaneous accident.
