Maui Crime Log: 11 Burglaries, 12 Vehicle Thefts, 5 Car Break-ins

Maui police responded to 11 burglaries, 12 vehicle thefts, and five vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between Sept. 29 and Oct. 5, 2013.  The complete list of locations affected and times in which the incidents occurred are as follows:

11 Maui Burglaries Reported Sept 29 to Oct 5, 2013

Hāliʻimaile:

• Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, 10 a.m.:  Olioli Street, forced entry.

Kaunakakai:

• Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, 3 p.m.:  Kaiwi Street, unlawful entry.

Kīhei:

• Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, 5:30 p.m.:  South Kīhei Road at Paradise Gardens Apartments, unlawful entry.
• Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, 3:43 a.m.:  Waimāhaʻihaʻi Street, unlawful entry.

Lahaina:

• Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, 1 a.m.:  Luʻi Street, unlawful entry.
• Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, 2:08 a.m.:  Kenui Street, at the Front Street Apartments, unlawful entry.
• Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, 6:50 a.m.:  Lāʻalo Place, forced entry.

Pāʻia:

• Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, 12 p.m.:  Aleiki Place, forced entry.

Speckelsville:

• Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, 12 p.m.:  Stable Road, unlawful entry.

Wailuku:

• Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, 3 p.m.:  Onekea Place, unlawful entry.
• Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, 3:54 p.m.:  Vineyard Street, forced entry.

Kīhei:

• Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, 6 a.m.:  South Kīhei Road at Cove Park.  2012 White Ford Fusion.   RECOVERED.
• Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, 7 p.m.:  South Kīhei Road at Three’s Bar & Grill.  2003 Black Honda Ruckus.
• Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, 6:19 a.m.:  South Kīhei Road at the Kīhei Bay Surf.  1992 White Ford F250.  License:  MZK649.  VIN: 1FTEF25H3NLA97618.
• Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, 4:46 p.m.:  Uwapo Road at Kīhei Villages.  2007 Light Blue Kia Spectra.  RECOVERED.

• Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, 10:40 p.m.:  Kapunakea Street at Blackie’s.  2011 White Ford custom vehicle.

Makawao:

• Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, 7:30 p.m.:  Alapio Place.  1990 Tan Jeep Wrangler.

Pāʻia:

• Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, 3:30 p.m.:  Baldwin Avenue at the Pāʻia Municipal Parking Lot.  2012 Black Chrysler 300.
