BRIEF: Manpower Shortage Results in Missed Trash Route in Haʻikū

A manpower shortage resulted in missed trash service in some areas of Haʻikū on Friday, Dec. 13, county officials from the Solid Waste Division announced.

Affected areas include: Aliʻikoa Place, Haʻikū Road, Holokai Road, Kauhikoa Road, Kaupakalua Road, East and West Kuiaha Road, Peʻahi Road, and Ulumalu Road, as well as surrounding streets.

Department officials apologized for inconvenience and said they expect to pick up trash on missed routes on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
