Rising Sun Solar Honored with National Award

Rising Sun Solar, a Maui-based solar electric company, was recently honored with the SunPower “Commercial National Dealer of the Year” award for its outstanding performance as a SunPower dealer in 2013. Rising Sun Solar, a Maui-based solar installer and SunPower commercial and residential dealer, today announced it has received the SunPower “Commercial National Dealer of the Year” award for its outstanding performance as a SunPower dealer in 2013.

“We are honored to receive the 2013 ‘Commercial National Dealer of the Year’ award from SunPower for our success in delivering the world’s highest efficiency solar systems and superior customer service to business owners in Hawai‘i,” said Matias Besasso, co-owner of Rising Sun Solar in a company press release.

“By partnering with SunPower, a leading solar technology and global energy services provider, we can offer our customers reliable solar energy and electricity savings over the life of their systems,” said Besasso.

The “Commercial National Dealer of the Year” award honors SunPower commercial dealers that demonstrate exceptional customer service, knowledge and leadership in the US.

The SunPower dealer network includes more than 1,800 dealers worldwide, with approximately 400 located in the US.

Howard Wenger, SunPower president congratulated the Maui company for the exceptional performance saying, “As a SunPower dealer, they have demonstrated a level of quality and commitment to excellence exceeding our expectations, and we look forward to their continued success in 2014.”
