According to police reports, Robello, who was a passenger in a white 1999 Toyota Tacoma pick-up, climbed out of the cab of the truck through the rear sliding window, and fell out of the truck bed while the truck was moving.

The incident was reported at around 7:45 p.m., about 1.7 miles south of Kealakapu Road, near the Sun Yat Sen Park.

The truck was being operated by another 23-year-old man who was traveling north on the highway when the incident occurred.
