Rex Tire in Wailuku Renamed ‘Maui Servco Tire Company’

Servco Automotive today announced the renaming of Rex Tire & Supply to Servco Tire Company.

The company owns two locations — one on O‘ahu, and the other in Wailuku on Maui near Stillwell’s Bakery and Cafe on Ka‘ahumanu Avenue.

The Wailuku location caters to both the automotive industry and the general public, offering tires, tubes, and rims, as well as tire rotation and flat repair.

Signage on the Maui Servco Tire Company was already in place today, reflecting the name change.

“The new name better reflects the superior quality and unparalleled client service for which Servco Automotive is known,” the company said in a press release.

“Servco Tire Company will provide the same high-quality products and exceptional customer service associated with Servco Automotive,” said Pamela Person, vice president and director of Servco Tire Company in the announcement.

Servco Tire Company offers tires and tubes from Bridgestone, Toyo and Delta; rims from a variety of companies including Ace, 5 Axis and TSW; and distribution products for a variety of passenger vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts and construction vehicles.

In February, Servco Automotive acquired the assets of Maui’s Island Subaru dealership in Kahului from Kitagawa Motors.
