Hundreds of soccer fans attended a screening of the USA vs Belgium World Cup game, broadcast live on a 47- by 22-foot big-screen at the Castle Theater of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Tuesday.

The game was also broadcast on Maui’s own ESPN AM 900 radio station, and included a pre-game show from the Maui Arts & Cultural Center hosted by Sportscasters Kanoa Leahey and Jodan Helle.

While the score was tied at 0-0 at the end of 90 minutes, Belgium scored two goals in extra-time, defeating the US who scored a single goal for a final score of 2-1.

Belgium advances to a quarterfinal match against Agrentina that will be held in Brasilia on Saturday.
