Repair and maintenance work will result in the closure of the locker room area of the Kīhei Aquatic Center from July 7 to Aug 8, 2014, in preparation for the Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships.

Various projects include:  Shower and locker room upgrades, painting and re-installation of pool grates in the 50 meter and training pools, and painting of the bulkhead.

Showers and locker rooms will be closed but portable toilets and hand wash stations will be available during the work period.

This project will not impact programs such as PALS, Junior Lifeguard, and water aerobics.  County officials say there is no impact anticipated for various permitted users and daily visitors to the pool as well.
