Ritz-Carlton Kapalua Offers Work-Week Specials
By Maui Now Staff
In celebration of summer, the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua is offering a number of limited-time dining specials: there’s one for almost every day of the working week.
Mondays
The fun kicks off with a three-course dinner at Kai Sushi.
The meal is offered at $49 per guest and features Chef Tadashi Yoshino’s favorites: savory chicken yakitori, fresh sushi and a slice of the resort’s “legendary” Ritz-Carlton Cake for dessert.
Tuesdays
The second day of the week brings sunset dinner under the stars at the Beach House.
When weather permits, Tuesday nights can now be spent enjoying al fresco dining under the a canopy of 40 coconut palms and the starry night sky.
“The Beach House is truly one of the most special, hidden gems among the Maui restaurant scene,” said Jay Heidenreich, director of sales & marketing for the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.
“Guests can enjoy local delicacies under a canopy of coconut palm trees while taking in spectacular ocean views without another man-made structure in sight.”
Usually open only for lunch and cocktails, The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua has extended the Beach House hours on Tuesdays to accommodate a dinner service for the summer.
Live Hawaiian music and a “special dinner menu” — both relative mysteries at this juncture — can be expected from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Wednesdays
Hump Day offers surf and turf at The Terrace.
For $39.95 you can savor the bounty of the aina and the moana with a pairing of jumbo shrimp and filet mignon accompanied by mashed potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms and a basil and corn compote.
Fridays
TGIF.
Friday night now means Kona Lobster at The Terrace.
For$29.95 enjoy a grilled Kona lobster accompanied by an edamame succotash drizzled with a coconut ginger lobster glacé.
