Mechanical Problems Results in Missed Kula Trash Route

Mechanical problems resulted in a missed trash route affecting residents in the Kula service area today (Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014).
The County of Maui Solid Waste Division announced the missed route saying they expected to pickup trash for affected customers on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014.
Areas affected include: Copp, Kamehameiki, Lower Kula, Naʻalae, and Pūlehuiki Roads; Haleakalā Highway; Holomakani and Kolohala Drives; Kekaulike Avenue; Wahelani Street; and all surrounding streets.
Department officials apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation.
