Central Pacific Bank today announced the promotion of Maui’s Brandon Higashi to Vice President & Senior Commercial Banking Officer of the company’s Neighbor Island team.

Higashi, who is currently based in Kahului, is responsible for managing and assisting his team to maintain, expand, grow and service commercial banking clients.

Higashi has been with Central Pacific Bank since 2013 and has more than 10 years of finance and banking experience.  Prior to his promotion, he served as Assistant Vice President & Senior Commercial Banking Officer.

He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.

He currently serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui and is treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Maui.

Central Pacific Bank operates 37 branches in the State of Hawaiʻi, including four on Maui, two on Kauaʻi, two on Hawaiʻi Island, and 29 on Oʻahu.  The Maui branches include a Kahului (85 W. Kaʻahumanu Avenue), Kīhei (207 Piʻikea Avenue), Lahaina (355 Keawe Street, Suite 401), and Wailuku (2061 Wells Street).
