BRIEF: Shark Sighting Forces Closure of South Maui Beach

The state Department of Land and Natural Resources has closed beaches from Maluaka to La Perouse Bay in South Maui due to a shark sighting reported on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2014. Beaches in the area will remain closed until 4 p.m.
