Kahului public library hosts a free Halloween program tonight for young kids. The “Tita Tells Spooky Stories” event features award-winning Maui storyteller Kathy Collins and her alter ego, “Tita.”

She will share spooky stories inspired by Hawaiian legends and spine-tingling tales from other countries and cultures.

The event is sponsored by Maui Friends of the Library and begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014.

The event is suitable for all ages, and kids must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
