If you’re looking for an excuse to eat out, look no further.

The annual “Dine Out for Hospice Maui”  event is tomorrow, November 11 and includes everything from fast food to upscale swank.

Each of the 36 participating restaurants donate a portion of the proceeds from your meal to Hospice Maui.

Each day, the Hospice Maui staff provide expert medical care, physical comfort, emotional and spiritual support for over 60 patients as well as support and respite for the patients’ family. Your participation in the Dine Out for Hospice Maui helps ensure care is available to all Maui residents in need.

Hospice Maui has been serving the community since 1981. Their stated work is to “provide physical comfort, emotional and spiritual support for the terminally ill and their families.”

Moreover, they note that their deeper purpose involves “enriching our community by helping people embrace the gifts that preparing for the death of a loved one can bring: Compassion, Insight, Courage, Humility, Inspiration, Confidence, and Growth.”
