Maui Police are seeking the public’s help in finding Edward A. Gillmore, a visitor from Canada who was reported missing by a family member on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, when he failed to return home as scheduled.

Police say Gillmore was staying in the Kīhei area.

He is described as Caucasian, standing 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with green eyes and balding hair.

Gillmore is also described as an avid bicyclist and was last seen in a gray, Mazada 5 SUV with the Hawaiʻi license plate LEL171, which belongs to Avis Rental Car.

Police say he utilizes a red and black bicycle helmet when riding his “Cervelo” touring bicycle and may possibly be wearing a cycling jersey.

If Gillmore is located, anyone with information is asked to contact the Maui Police Department at (808) 244-6400 or call Detective Barry Aoki of the Kīhei Criminal Investigation at (808) 875-5404.
