Maui Family Support Services Launches Search for CEO

Maui Family Support Services announced the selection of Edeluisa Baguio-Larena as the organization’s interim chief executive officer, effective Oct. 25, 2014.
Organization representatives say the previous CEO, L. Jani Sheppard, who served the agency for 10 years, resigned from the post.
The Board of Directors has since begun the process of identifying a permanent CEO.
Maui Family Support Services is a private, non-profit organization that has been providing early childhood development services to families on Maui for more than 30 years.
The mission of the organization is “to promote healthy family functioning by providing supportive services that build on family strengths,” and utilizes “collective resources toward the prevention of child abuse and neglect.”
Maui Family Support Services currently serves families on the islands of Maui, Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi.
