The SUP Movie Premiere, Featuring Maui’s Kai Lenny

Fans of Stand Up Paddle surfing have an opportunity to get a widescreen view from the wave during tonight’s premiere of The SUP Movie.
Show time is 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater.
The film was co-produced by Maui’s own world champion Kai Lenny in coordination with Johnny Decesare of Poor Boyz Productions.
The film took two years to film and produce and stars Kai, his brother Ride, and fellow Maui SUP athletes Kody Kerbox, Zane Schweitzer and Connor Baxter.
Other stars include Laird Hamilton, Noa Ginella, Sean Poynter, Izzi Gomez, Mo Freitas, and Lori Park.
Part of the proceeds from tonight’s screening go to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui.
Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for kids 12 and under, plus applicable fees.
