This topic might seem like a no-brainer to some readers out there, but to everyone else, it’s pretty amazing to own an oceanfront home on Maui. I mean, come on. The fact that it is still possible to buy oceanfront property on Maui is really kind of incredible.
Throughout most of the neighboring isles, this is an impossibility unless you are a multi-millionaire (or, a billionaire) and are searching for your third vacation home. Here are four reasons why it’s so awesome to own an oceanfront home on Maui:

Can you imagine waking up, making a quick little brekkie and some delicious Maui coffee, and then suiting up to take your stand up paddle board out on a morning date? Just a few steps to the sand or a rocky shoreline, and your golden!
The Sounds of Rolling Waves Everyday
There’s no more need for a sound maker or white noise from a fan to fall asleep. With the ocean at your backdoor, go to bed and arise to the sweet sounds of rolling waves reaching the shoreline, palm tree leaves blowing in the wind, and melodic tropical birds chirping.

You are suddenly the most popular person you know. Everyone wants to hang out with you at your house, you can have BBQ’s everyday if you wanted, and you have the best possible location for parties, celebrations and romantic evenings. Cheer to you!

It’s a Great Investment
No matter what you do with your property, it’s going to continually increase in value, forever. You could literally sit on the property and live in the smallest cottage ever, and never build anything but a surf rack, and your Maui oceanfront property will probably double in your lifetime. As we all know, people want what’s rare and what’s hard to find. People want to live on an oceanfront property on Maui. (Except for buying oceanfront property too close to an erosion zone…)
