Hawaiʻi County Mayor Billy Kenoi will be joining the 2015 Maui County Council Inauguration to give the keynote speech.  The ceremony to usher in the 2015-2017 term of council members will occur on Jan. 2 at 10 a.m. in the Council Chamber, and is open to the public.

Kenoi was invited to speak by Council Chair Gladys Baisa, following his commencement speech at Hawaiʻi Pacific University earlier this year.  A video of the mayor’s speech has gone viral online.
