National Weather Service forecaster Robert Ballard has issued a public information statement recapping the wind observations measured at various automated observation platforms around the state.

Localized winds may have been higher than the limited observation sites that are available. These are preliminary values and have not yet been quality controlled. Wind speeds are in mph. Here are his observations.
