MPD Offering CSI Summer Camp for High School Students

The Maui Police Department is now accepting applications for its CSI Camp–a free crime scene investigation workshop for high school juniors and seniors. The Camp is scheduled for June 22 to 26, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The workshop will be limited to 12 students.

The summer event will include crime scene photography, scene diagramming, testing for blood, bullet trajectory, fingerprints, human remains recovery, polygraph testing and autopsies.

Students interested in attending will be able to apply online at the County of Maui’s website on the Police Department page. The deadline to apply is April 17, 2015.
