Maui Electric Company will begin work to relocate utility poles along Baldwin Avenue in Pā‘ia on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015.

The work will continue through Sunday, March 1, and will include work along the section of road between Milagros Food Company at the Hāna Highway intersection and Mana Foods.

Work will be conducted each night beween 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., in an effort to mitigate traffic in the area; however, delays on Hāna Highway and Baldwin Avenue are possible during this time.

Due to the extensive work, the Hāna Highway bound lane on Baldwin Avenue will be closed during construction hours.

Company officials say residential electrical service will not be impacted by the project.
