First presented on the 10th anniversary of the MACC in 2004, the Lei of Distinction is the highest honor that the Maui Arts & Cultural Center bestows upon individuals with exceptional vision.

The award also recognizes those in the community for their talents that exemplify, inspire and enable creative endeavors in the arts and education.

This latest award comes on the MACC’s 20th Anniversary, and is being presented to Maui philanthropists Dorvin and Betty Leis.
