Maui Games Center Reopens After Fire at Kenolio Complex

Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa celebrated the reopening of the Kenolio Recreational Complex today. The facility, which also serves as the Maui Bridge and Intellectual Games Center, burned down in 2011. The fire was classified as an arson and caused an estimated $150,000 in damage. A blessing ceremony was held today to celebrate the completion of construction at the center, located at 131 South Kīhei Road.
