Maui Crime Log March 15–21: Burglaries, Thefts, Break-Ins

Maui police responded to 13 burglaries, 23 vehicle break-ins and 15 vehicle thefts in Maui County over the seven-day period between Sunday, March 15, and Saturday, March 21, 2015.

The number of burglaries is the same as the previous week at 13 reported.

The number of vehicle break-ins reported is five more than last week, whcn 18 were reported.

Five more vehicle thefts than last week were reported, up to 15 from last week’s 10.

• Sunday, March 16, 2015, 6:31 a.m.: Lono Avenue at Maui High School in Kahului. Non-residential, forced entry.
• Sunday, March 16, 2015, 9:47 a.m.: Main Street at Main Street Promenade in Wailuku. Non-residential, unlawful entry.
• Monday, March 17, 2015, 3:14 p.m.: Maikai Street in Haliʻimaile. Residential, unlawful entry.
• Tuesday, March 18, 2015, 10:04 a.m.: Palama Drive in Kahului. Residential, unlawful entry.
• Tuesday, March 18, 2015, 10:04 a.m.: Wailea Alanui Drive at Grand Wailea Hotel in Kahului. Residential, forced entry.
• Tuesday, March 18, 2015, 9:40 a.m.: Vevau Street at Waterfront Apartments in Kahului. Residential, attempted entry.
