Free Admission at Haleakalā Marks Start of National Park Week

All national parks will waive entrance fees on Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, 2015 to kick off National Park Week.

This year’s theme introduces the National Park Service 2016 Centennial message, “Find your Park.”

Park festivities include a Junior Ranger Day on Sunday at Haleakalā, trivia games in all park visitor centers; and daily talks, hikes, and cultural demonstrations.

Activities will be posted at all visitor centers.
