A sound installation by French artist and composer Céleste Boursier-Mougenot will be on exhibit at Schaefer International Gallery from May 17 to July 18.

Boursier-Mougenot creates intriguing works that explore the potential of common objects as a means to compose music in a given space.

In collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Schaefer International Gallery will present his untitled (series #3) 1-3 as a solo installation. This work generates unpredictable sound patterns that offer an acoustically captivating experience.

Along with his many international and solo exhibitions, he will represent France in the 2015 Venice Biennial.
