South: Ankle/thigh high waves are expected today. The  best breaks could get a little bigger on the sets.

Screen Shot 2015-05-17 at 10.00.51 PMA small mix of southerly swells brings small waves through the week. Storm activity in the Tasman Sea could bring us swell later this week and into the weekend. Another slightly larger swell is possible on Saturday.

Our current northwest is fading today. A northwest pulse is expected tomorrow with another on it’s heels for the weekend.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
