A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all Maui County channels (except the Kaiwi Channel) and Māʻalaea Bay through 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. East winds up to 25 knots are forecasted along with rough seas of 7 to 11 feet. Inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Today
Today we expect high temperatures from 81° to 86°. Winds will continue to be out of the northeast from 15 to 20 mph. Leeward sides should be mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Windward sides should be partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers during the day.

Tonight
Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight with likely windward showers. Partly cloudy for leeward spots with isolated showers. Northeast winds are forecasted from 15 to 20 mph. Low temperatures from 68° to 73° are expected.
Looking Ahead
Breezy trade winds are expected to continue through Tuesday with decreasing trades expected Wednesday. Showers will favor windward slopes with a few passing showers over leeward locations. Variable winds with afternoon sea breezes are forecast for Thursday and Friday as a front approaches from the northwest.
