Maui police have launched a sexual assault investigation into reports of a man exposing himself and masturbating in a vehicle in Pukalani over the weekend.
On Saturday, May 30, 2015 beginning at approximately 12:51 p.m., police received numerous calls about the man who was parked at Pukalani Terrace and at the Hannibal Tavares Community Center.
Maui police say callers described the man to be in his 40s to 50s, weighing approximately 200 pounds, and say he was driving a green colored Toyota 4Runner.
Investigators are pursuing a possible lead provided by at least one of the callers, according to Maui Police Lieutenant William Juan.
Five separate fourth degree sex assault cases were initiated and the investigation is ongoing.
