Alexander Academy to Present ‘Cinderella’ at Seabury

Alexander Academy Performing Company will perform Prokofiev’s Cinderella at Seabury Hall’s ‘A‘ali‘ikuhonua Creative Arts Center on Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7.
AAPC, the nonprofit branch of the donation-based dance studio Alexander Academy of Performing Arts, will offer three performances throughout the weekend that will showcase the talent and skill of over 150 student dancers ages three to adult.
Featured performers will include Hanna Claerbout and Laurel Bicker dancing the role of Cinderella, Jen Cox and Eliza Wright as the stepsisters, Nicole Yezzi as the stepmother, Ashley Krost and Giulia Salaparuta as the fairy godmother and Nathaniel Hunt as the prince.
The company is excited to welcome back professional dancer Hunt, who graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of fine arts in dance from Long Island University-Brooklyn. He has studied at the Ailey School, Earl Mosley’s Institute for the Arts and the Joffrey Ballet School. He is presently dancing and touring the world with the Alvin Ailey II Company.
Show times are Saturday at 2 and 6 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.
General admission tickets with bench seating are $18 for adults, $10 for keiki ages 2 to 12. VIP seats are available at $30 for adults; $20 for keiki.
