All riders of public transportation are invited to participate in the “Maui Public Transit Rider Education Forum” from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the MEO Family Center, located at 99 Mahalani Street in Wailuku.

This forum is sponsored by the County of Maui Department of Transportation, the Paratransit Advisory Council and Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc.  Its purpose is to provide information about the different types of transportation service available, eligibility requirements and riders’ rules, rights and responsibilities.

Presenters include, MEO Transportation, Roberts Hawaiʻi, the State of Hawaiʻi Disability and Communication Access Board and the County of Maui Office on Aging and the County of Maui Department of Transportation.

Those who plan on attending, are asked to call Kai Oliver at (808) 249-2990 to reserve a seat.

The registration deadline is June 23, 2015.
