Manpower Shortage Affects Refuse Pickups in Kīhei

Due to a manpower shortage, trash on the Kīhei area residential refuse collection route was not picked up on Monday, June 15, 2015.
Affected areas include: parts of South Kīhei and Kenolio Road; Kaiola Place and Street; Honuea Place and Street; Honuhula and Kūlanihākoʻi Streets; and the Betsill subdivision.
County officials say the missed pickup is expected to be made on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
Department officials apologized for this inconvenience and thanked the community for their understanding and cooperation.
